Jesus talked about money more than almost any other everyday topic—not because God wants something from us, but because He wants freedom for us. When we handle our resources with wisdom, generosity, and peace, it shapes our hearts and our lives.
That’s why we’re hosting a Financial Wisdom Workshop on Sunday, April 12 from 2:30-4 pm in the MPR. Join us for a practical and hope-filled conversation about stewarding what God has entrusted to you.
During this 90-minute gathering you’ll learn:
How to plan wisely for retirement without fear
Smart, ethical approaches to tax planning
Ways to manage financial risk in uncertain times
How to align your financial decisions with your faith and values
This isn’t about pressure, selling products, or complicated investing jargon. It’s about clarity, confidence, and living open-handedly before God.
About Seek First Foundation
This workshop is led by the Seek First Foundation, a nonprofit ministry that serves churches throughout the Bay Area. Their mission is to help believers pursue Jesus first in every area of life — including finances. They provide biblically grounded financial education so people can move from anxiety and confusion toward peace, generosity, and purposeful living.
Their team does not sell financial products and does not manage investments. Instead, they equip individuals and families with wisdom, tools, and perspective so they can make informed decisions and honor God with their resources.
Cost: Free
Length: 90 minutes
Who should attend? Anyone! Whether you’re just starting out, mid-career, approaching retirement, or simply want to think about money through the lens of faith. We’d love for you to join us as we learn together what it looks like to seek first the Kingdom in our finances.
