Neighborhood Meet and Greets

Neighborhood Meet & Greet

At CPC, we believe we were created for community. It’s in relationships with one another that we are formed and transformed—and experience what it means to be truly seen, known, and loved.

As part of our shared Rule of Life, we practice hospitality: embracing and extending Jesus’ radical welcome by opening our lives and spaces to others. And that kind of hospitality doesn’t stop when we leave church on Sunday. It naturally overflows into the neighborhoods where we live.

In a recent CPC survey, 72% of you told us you’d be more interested in community if it were closer to home. So we’ve been praying and dreaming about what it could look like to create communities right where we already live—close enough to walk to after dinner, gathering around shared meals, continuing conversations on front porches and sidewalks, and allowing faith and friendship to grow through the ordinary rhythms of everyday life.

That’s why we’re hosting a series of Neighborhood Meet & Greets! These are simple, casual gatherings where you can share a meal, meet other CPC people who live nearby, and see what kind of community might begin to take shape in your neighborhood.

Food is provided—just bring yourself and your family! Come meet some neighbors and help us imagine what community closer to home could look like.
