Serve From Home
•Be a Pen Pal: Join the CPC Care and Encouragement Pen Pal Team! The senior centers we partner with to serve are unable to allow visits and activities are restricted due to COVID-19. Without leaving home or risking anyone's health, you can send messages to let them know we care and provide encouragement in these difficult and unsettling times for those at high-risk in our community. Anyone able to write messages of care and encouragement or become an on-going penpal. Contact Jennifer Marshall.
•Start a fundraiser for your favorite For Our Neighbor Partner. Contact Jennifer Marshall for more information.
•Pray for CPC’ers that are suffering due the shelter in place, Covid, other prayer needs with the CPC Prayer Team.
•Make phone calls to elderly with the CPC Go Team.
•Provide a Meal for Medical Workers: The Emergency Workers at our local county hospital, San Mateo Medical Center could use our love as they serve on the frontlines with those that are ill and most vulnerable in our community. Check out the Facebook Group for more hospitals on the Peninsula to serve.
Samaritan House - show up with a mask and they will assist from there. Most likely you will either pack or hand-out food bags and they have the gloves and sanitizer needed. 4031 Pacific Boulevard, San Mateo.

•Donors who purchase meals for VBS. To reduce exposure, we plan only to serve purchased meals from local restaurants. BCM will need volunteers to purchase and/or drive these meals to VBS – Volunteers are also invited to stay and serve the food.
•Make youth face masks. As part of BCM’s plan to keep people safe, adults and students who are part of in-person programs will be required to wear face masks. We will need 100 masks for students - 50 for elementary age and 50 for middle school age by June 24. Masks can be in a variety of patterns/colors but need to be made for youth faces.
