Higher Power

Higher Power Recovery Celebration has been serving the San Francisco Peninsula since 1992. At Higher Power you can expect an evening of music, teaching and fellowship centered around God's work in our recovery. We have original and upbeat worship, ranging from blues bands, to solo artists, big bands, funk, island, jazz, and gospel bands. Each week we have different speakers that teach on multiple topics. One week we teach on the 12 steps, another we will teach on - being healthy in recovery or the importance of getting connected and being in service, or we will have testimonies from people who have found a new way in recovery at Higher Power. We meet at the Foster City Campus in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Join us every Friday night from 7:30 to 9:15 pm.

Children (ages two – eleven years old) are welcome and we provide care and activities for them while their parents are in the meeting. Infants are welcome to stay with their parents in the meeting as well as kids twelve and above.

We believe that no one is ever too broken, too scared or too far gone to create change. Never stop fighting. Never lose faith.

Through God’s Word and the 12 steps for Christians, we will work together, share together, and pray for each other,” as we work toward “living in the solution”, God’s way. We meet every Monday evening from 7-8:30pm at 678 Barneson Avenue in San Mateo. Please contact Ronda at 650-520-8390 for more information.

Additional Support

Outside the Friday night service, workshops and supports that provide the framework for this ministry, we also offer various events and services that are worth mentioning:
