Wallace unpack “How Badly Did the Scribes Corrupt the New Testament?” He will also talk about the incredible work the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts, an organization founded in 2002, that has digitized more New Testament manuscripts than any other institute and has discovered more (75+) than all the institutes combined since its inception.

Who is Dr. Daniel Wallace?
Dr. Wallace has traveled to 35 countries, and has examined hundreds of thousands of pages of unique, handwritten manuscripts in dozens of libraries, monasteries, universities, museums, and private collections throughout the world.
Senior Research Professor of New Testament Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary, where he has taught for more than three decades.
Member of several academic societies including Society of New Testament Studies, Society of Biblical Literature, Institute for Biblical Research, American Society of Papyrologists, and the Evangelical Theological Society (of which he was president in 2016).
Consultant or editor for half a dozen Bible translations. He is both the Senior New Testament editor of the NET Bible (to be published by Thomas Nelson in October 2019) and a member of the Committee on Bible Translation—the select group of scholars responsible for all revisions of the NIV.
Authored, co-authored, or contributed to more than three dozen books.
Dr. Wallace’s Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics: An Exegetical Syntax of the New Testament is the standard intermediate Greek grammar in the English-speaking world and has been translated into half a dozen languages with nearly as many in process.
Wallace’s interns (over 100) have earned advanced degrees at Oxford University, Cambridge University, University of Edinburgh, Yale Divinity School, Princeton Seminary, Catholic University of America, and several other prestigious schools throughout the world, have published scores of scholarly essays and books, and have taught and are teaching at several institutes of higher education. Over one third of the world’s New Testament textual scholars in the past decade have been trained by Dr. Wallace.
Dan and his wife, Pati, have been married for 45 years, have four adult sons, three daughters-in-law, three granddaughters, one grandson, and a Labrador Retriever named Porter. He is a fourth-generation Californian and former body surfer from Newport Beach, CA. He doesn’t care much for the surf in Dallas.
