Summer XP and XP+
Where: Foster City Campus
When: 07/13/2020 - 07/17/2020
Get ready for Summer XP! Summer XP 2020 will help kids dive deeper into their faith by putting the FOCUS on God and His amazing plan for us. Kids will have a blast as they discover how to trust in what they CAN’T see because of what they CAN see. We’ll use this week to explore four different ways we can FOCUS on God: hear, talk, pray, live. Summer XP costs $80 for the week.
For the first time ever, in a limited capacity, CPCKids and Fellowship of Christian Athletes are partnering together to offer a unique camp experience, called XP+, complete with competition, celebration, and perspiration! XP+ is an extended day camp experience, with an emphasis on sports, for all Kindergarten through 8th graders who are participating in this year’s FOCUS Summer XP. At XP+, kids and students will receive high-quality sports and spiritual coaching from local college and high school athletes in a well organized and competitive environment. Campers will enjoy connecting with others as they learn the meaning of a “Total Athlete!” We have limited spaces for XP+! XP+ costs $100 for a total of $180 for the week.
XP+ is already full, but we are hoping to open more spots. There is a place in the form to indicate you are interested in attending XP+. You will also see a link to a XP+ waitlist form in your Summer XP confirmation message after submitting the Summer XP form.
What to expect?
Expect a day full of engaging activities through games, small groups, cross-cultural experiences, music, teaching, and yummy snacks. If your child is participating in XP+, they will take a lunch break and then head over to Catamaran Park for an afternoon of learning new sports skills, training, and fun games. Below is a sample schedule of the day.
Sample daily schedule for Summer XP:
9:00-9:30: Large Group (Worship, Bible story)
9:30-12:00: Rotations (Games/Snacks, Crafts, Missions, Music, and Small Groups)
12:00-12:30: Large Group (Worship, Daily Recap)
Sample daily schedule or those staying for XP+
1:00-3:00: Catamaran Park (outdoor sports activities)
3:00-4:00: CPC (indoor sports activities)
All children should bring/wear closed-toed shoes, water bottle, and pre-applied sunblock. Those staying for XP+ should bring a bag lunch daily.
Serve as an XP Leader
You too can be a part of Summer XP and XP+ and impact the life of a child through serving. Whether it’s serving snacks, playing games, helping with check–in, or leading a small group, everyone who serves is helping the greater mission of CPC “making and maturing more followers of Christ.”
Leaders who are in 6-8th grade register here.
