ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 1

  • Serve Up Some Holiday Cheer At LEAD Elementary: Let’s come together to create a festive and joyful experience for our community! LEAD Parents will “shop” for gifts at LEAD’s Multipurpose Room while LEAD Kids will enjoy activities and games in LEAD’s Resource Room. We’re looking for volunteers to assist with gift shopping setup and support, supervising kids’ activities, setup, cleanup, and spreading cheer. Let’s work together to bring joy to our LEAD families on Thursday, December 12, and/or Friday, December 13, during the late afternoon and evening. Register TODAY!

  • Christmas Eve Services: CPC will have three Christmas Eve Services: 2, 3:30, and 5 pm, with CPCKids for three and under at the 2 pm service only. It would be a big help for planning purposes to pre-register your children! For all things Christmas, go to cpc.org/christmas.

  • Higher Power Night of Miracles: The miracle of recovery is a gift, and we learn that it can happen for anyone who is willing to believe. Our Night of Miracles Celebration will include food, special desserts, music, fellowship and stories of lives changed by the miracle of recovery. You are invited to Night of Miracles on Friday, December 20, 7:00 pm.

  • Women At Work: Women at Work is a place where you can find support and friendship as you navigate your unique challenges in the workplace while seeking to integrate your faith in a meaningful way. We gather to affirm and encourage one another to grow and honor God through our work. We meet on the first Saturday of the month. Join us on Saturday, December 7, from 9-10:30 am in the Multipurpose Room at CPC as we discuss “Identify Beliefs that Limit Your Growth!” Register at cpc.org/womenatwork.

  • Work Life: Join us Saturday, December 14, from 9-10:30 am as Roy Lobo and David Fisher share how to "Get Better Interviews With the PSR Method." Additionally, you can network and get one-on-one help from career coaches for support in your job transitions and challenges. RSVP for this Zoom meeting at cpc.org/worklife.

  • Church At Home: On Sunday, December 29 we will have Church at Home, no in-person services. So gather with friends and family and join us online as we ring in the New Year. We will live stream the services at 9 and 11 am through the CPC app, our website, and YouTube. If you are not a subscriber to our YouTube channel, make sure to subscribe!

  • Worship Night: Mark your calendar for a powerful evening of worship on January 12 from 6-8 pm—the first since the pandemic! Let’s come together as a community to lift our voices in song and hearts in prayer as we seek God’s presence like never before. Don’t miss this incredible night of connection and renewal as we celebrate who God is and what He has done!

  • Women’s Retreat: Join us at the Spring Women’s Retreat at Mt Hermon March 14-16, 2025! It’s the perfect place for women to gather, get away, and take time to reflect on God’s love and purposes for our lives. Leave your distractions and busyness at home and come experience refreshment of mind, body, and soul in the presence of Jesus. Rather than hosting our own retreat, we will join Mt. Hermon’s Spring Women’s Retreat. We will be with women from all over the Bay Area to enjoy worship, teaching, and activities in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains. You will need to register with CPC and Mt Hermon. For more information and to register, go to cpc.org/events.
