Bay Area School Of Ministry (BASOM): The Bay Area School of Ministry is holding a ten-week course called Biblical Interpretation. The focus of this course is how to read, interpret, and apply the Bible. This class will equip students to discover the biblical author’s original intent, as well as how to apply it in relevant and legitimate ways today. We will cover everything from different Bible translations to different kinds of literature found in the Bible: poetry, narrative, prophecy, history, gospels, parables, and wisdom. We are excited to hold this class at our NEW location in Redwood City, Bridge City Church! Bridge City is located at 468 Grand Street Street. Dr. Mark Mitchell will be teaching this class on Mondays, January 13 - March 24, from 7:00-9:00 pm. To register, go to https://basom.com/next-class/

Winter Baby Dedication: Parents of a new baby? Our next baby dedication will take place on Sunday, January 26, 2025. Register by January 12. For more information and to register, go to cpc.org/events.

Marriage Workshop: Looking for a way to deepen your connection with your partner and with God? This workshop is designed to help you and your partner reconnect with your faith and discover the joy and power of a vertical marriage. For more information and to register, go to cpc.org/events.

CPC Book Club: CPC’s Book Club meets on the fourth Saturday of each month at 3 pm in CPC’s Family Room. It is open to everyone! Each month, participants read a given book and then gather at the meeting to discuss it. Discussions are vibrant and lively and offer a great way to learn about new books while making new friends. Check out the 2025 Reading list here.

Women’s Retreat: Join us at the Spring Women’s Retreat at Mt Hermon March 14-16, 2025! It’s the perfect place for women to gather, get away, and take time to reflect on God’s love and purposes for our lives. Leave your distractions and busyness at home and come experience refreshment of mind, body, and soul in the presence of Jesus. Rather than hosting our own retreat, we will join Mt. Hermon’s Spring Women’s Retreat. We will be with women from all over the Bay Area to enjoy worship, teaching, and activities in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains. You will need to register with CPC and Mt Hermon. For more information and to register, go to cpc.org/events.
