ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 31

  • You are invited to join us on Friday, March 29 at 6 pm to hear from seven CPCer’s personally reflect on the last seven phrases Jesus uttered on the cross.

 

  • Higher Power is also hosting a Good Friday Service Higher Power Style from 7:30-9:30 pm (NOTE THE TIME CHANGE). Pastor Raymond from Brooklyn will be the guest speaker! Whether you are coming to CPC’s or Higher Power’s Good Friday service, here is a parking tip: for Good Friday ONLY, we can park in the Mormon Church Lot. With about 800 people at the 6 pm service and another 200 people coming to Higher Power, instead of circling the CPC Lot, go straight to Mormon Church lot and walk over!


  • On Easter Sunday, March 31, we will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus through baptism, musical worship, and a special Easter message at three services! Please NOTE THE TIME CHANGES! Our first service will be at 8 am (No CPCKids), 9:30, and 11:30 am (CPCKids is happening during the 9:30 and 11:30 am services). Be praying for who you can invite; we will have invite cards ready for you soon!


  • Women at Work: As a woman in the workplace, you’re juggling a lot: work, family obligations, and everything else life throws at you. We want to help you find your place, grow spiritually, and connect with other women. Women at Work is a place where you can find support and friendship as you navigate your unique challenges in the workplace while seeking to integrate your faith in a meaningful way. We gather to affirm and encourage one another to grow and honor God through our work. We meet on the first Saturday of the month. Join us Saturday, April 6, from 9-10:30 am in the Multipurpose Room at CPC! Register at cpc.org/womenatwork.


  • 2024 Identity Workshop: Join our Biblical Counseling Team this spring for an awesome workshop called “Identity: Rooted in Christ." Get ready to discover your identity in Christ, tackle spiritual needs, and learn about Spiritual Warfare—all while diving into God's perfect plan. Our counselors and pastors will ensure you enjoy this three-day event exploring God's goodness. Don't miss out, register today! This workshop starts Monday, April 8, from 7-8:30 pm.


  • Work Life: Join us Saturday, April 13, from 9-10:30 am as Alicea Wu shares "Practical Tips for Transitioning to a Different Career." Hear Alicea's inspiring story of how God helped her transition to a career in cancer drug development. Additionally, you can network and get one-on-one help from career coaches to support you in your job transitions and challenges. RSVP for this in-person meeting


  • The Sequoia Speaker Series is back! Join us on Zoom on Sunday, April 21, at 4 pm, as we learn from Dr. Rienow. He is a seasoned minister focusing on Families and Youth, a church planter, and a conference speaker, including the Legacy Coalition videos and Summit.   • Scripture Practice Lab: After Easter will kick-off our Scripture Habit Sermon Series and to follow that we are hosting our Scripture Practice Lab! No matter if you're a theology whiz or reading the Bible for the first time, the Scripture Practice Lab is your go-to event! Practice Labs are designed to equip and encourage us in learning new habits in our Rule of Life. On Sunday evenings from 5-6:30 pm starting April 28, we will gather together, share a meal, and try on a variety of ways to engage with scripture using the three-step process of approach, encounter, and response. So, join us and let's embark on this enriching journey together! Register today!
