Seniors

We are "for" Seniors! We have many ways you can serve, honor, and value seniors!

JOY AND ENCOURAGEMENT WITH VISITS AND CARDS

Many in senior care get few or no visitors and greatly appreciate opportunities to socialize. This is a wonderful opportunity for groups, families, or individuals to bring joy and build relationships, typically in a common area for 45 to 90 min. Young children and well behaved small pets always bring smiles. Additionally, groups can make encouragement and holiday cards for other groups or for the staff to share with the residents.

FOSTER CITY VILLAGE

Foster City Village provides a wide range of services for seniors, from social events to individual needs, including supporting residents of senior communities and those able to live at home.

DRIVING SENIORS LOCALLY

A common need for seniors are rides for those unable to drive to appointments, most often for doctor or beauty appointments. These are typically local, with the outer distances being Palo Alto and Mills in Burlingame and usually during the week. It's an opportunity to help while getting to know local seniors when their need fits your schedule. This opportunity is available any weekday.

GOLDEN HERITAGE

This is a senior living facility with numerous activities throughout the year, including holiday parties, specific projects to keep the facility nice for the residents, and building relationships with the seniors, so they know God’s love.
