ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 15, 2026

Ash Wednesday Service: Join us on Wednesday, February 18, at 6:30 am in the Auditorium for our Ash Wednesday Service as we begin the season of Lent together. Ash Wednesday marks a sacred invitation to pause, reflect, and remember our deep need for God’s grace. Through Scripture, prayer, worship, and the imposition of ashes, we will orient our hearts toward repentance, humility, and renewal as we journey toward Good Friday and the hope of Easter. Come as you are, before the busyness of the day, and begin Lent with intention and hope.

Easter Baptism: If you are interested in being baptized, have questions about baptism, or are ready to take the next step in your faith, make sure to register for our Easter Baptism by Sunday, April 5. Baptisms will occur during our Easter Sunday Services. Our staff is excited to reach out to you and walk you through what baptism is with our Baptism Class held on Sunday, March 8, at 1:00 pm in the Student Room. To learn more about baptism, read our Baptism Paper! Register today!

Financial Wisdom Seminar: Jesus often spoke about money because it shapes our hearts. Join us on Sunday, April 12 at 2:30 for a free 90-minute workshop focused on stewarding what God has entrusted to you with wisdom and peace. You’ll receive practical guidance on retirement planning, taxes, and navigating financial uncertainty. Led by the Seek First Foundation, a Bay Area nonprofit that serves churches by offering biblically grounded financial teaching. They don’t sell products, they simply equip people to live open-handedly before God. Open to anyone, wherever you are in your financial journey. For more information and to register go to cpc.org/events.

Short Term Mission Trips: Applications are open for our North Macedonia and Honduras trips this summer! Partnership Trips are always in the context of an ongoing relationship with a global CPC partner and include a commitment to training meetings before and debrief meetings after the trip itself. Both trips are open to families. North Macedonia's tentative dates are June 8–19, and the Honduras dates are July 31–August 8. Email missions@cpc.org for more information and to access the application!

Call for Art | Lent Stations Art Show: We invite artists of all disciplines to help create a reflective, prayerful journey through the days leading to Christ’s crucifixion and burial. Through original artwork, participants will be invited to engage heart, mind, and body in the sacred weight and hope of the Lenten season. Proposals are due February 20, with final artwork due March 20. To learn more or to apply, please email Shalan at schau@cpc.org. We’d love to connect with you.

Sequoia (50+): Come enjoy a rich evening of worship and community at our Sequoia Hymn Sing, led by Brandon Pasion on Sunday, February 15 at 4 pm. We’ll lift our voices together singing beloved hymns that have shaped our faith, then share a meal and good conversation around the table. Dinner is included for $8, making it an easy, meaningful night to slow down, sing loud, and be refreshed. All are welcome—come hungry and ready to worship! Register TODAY!

The Didakto Seminars With John Walton: On Thursday, March 5, join us for a special session with Dr. John Walton, author and professor emeritus at Wheaton College, called Immanuel Theology: What God Has Always Wanted. We’ll trace the story of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation and discover God’s heart to be with His people—from creation to new creation. It’s an invitation to rediscover God’s presence and renew our commitment to practicing His presence in everyday life. For more information, go to cpc.org/events.

Send a Student to Summer Camp: Camp is more than just a getaway—it’s a powerful experience where students grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and encounter God in incredible ways. We want every student to have the opportunity to be part of this life-changing experience, but many need financial assistance to get there. Here’s where you can make a difference! Your generosity can help remove financial barriers and send a student or leader to camp. You can give to our "Student Camp Scholarship Fund" by: Writing a check to CPC with “camp scholarship” in the memo line. Or give online at cpc.org/give and choose “student camp scholarships” in the drop-down menu. Your support isn’t just a gift—it’s an investment in a student’s spiritual journey. Thank you for making an impact.
