ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF January 11, 2026

Summer XP and Summer Camp Dates: Save the dates! High School Summer Camp at Mount Hermon will be June 21-27, 2026, at $995. Middle School Summer Camp at Mount Hermon will be July 12-18, 2026, at $995. Summer XP for elementary ages will take place at CPC July 20-24, 2026. More details to come!

Prayer Time for Physical Healing: A small prayer team will gather in the Family Room after our second service on Sunday, January 11, at 12:45 PM. If you would like prayer for physical healing, we invite you to come and be prayed for. Contact Josh Parrish if you have questions.

New Community Group: Looking for a place to grow in your faith and build meaningful connections? This new online community group treasures the Word of God and studies Scripture one book at a time. Together, we ask questions of the text, pray for the Holy Spirit’s illumination, seek biblical truth, and apply that truth to our everyday, cruciform life. Whether you’re new to CPC or have been around for years, you’re invited to join and grow in community with Chris Foreman and Stephen Lim.

Refuge Church Attendees: If you’re part of the Refuge Church family, we’d love for you to join us for a special luncheon with the Central Peninsula Church Pastors and Directors on Sunday, January 11, at 1:30 pm in the Student Ministry Room. This will be a relaxed and welcoming time to share a meal, get to know one another, hear more about the heart and vision of CPC, and ask any questions you may have. We’re grateful for the journey God is leading us on together and look forward to connecting with you in this meaningful way. Register today.

Christmas Outreach Fund Open-Handedness in Malawi: Since 2008, CPC has given away nearly $1.5 million through our Christmas Outreach Fund. This year, we’re supporting a remarkable story that began with an unlikely missionary—Howard Hibbs, a retired banker and Master Gardener who connected Malawi Children’s Mission with Tiyeni and later founded Tiyeni USA. Their work in Deep Bed Farming is helping families fight food insecurity, with a goal of making hundreds of farming families food-secure within five years. To learn more about this opportunity, visit cpc.org/christmas. Giving to the Christmas Outreach fund will end on January 15.

Sequoia (50+): Aging well is about more than health—it’s about spiritual depth, strong relationships, and a centered life. Join us for Sequoia as Dr. Mark Mitchell discusses “The Meaning of Elderhood” on Sunday, January 18, at 4 pm in the Multipurpose Room, followed by a potluck. Sequoia meets on the third Sunday of the month. For more information and to register, go to cpc.org/sequoia.

Night of Worship: Come experience a powerful and unforgettable night of worship and prayer, where bold praise and Holy moments create space for His presence. Join us as we realign ourselves with our creator to begin our new year on Sunday, January 11, from 6:30 to 8 pm. Text the word BRANDON to 650.460.1144 and tell us a story of God’s faithfulness in 2025! For more information, go to cpc.org/events.

Women’s Retreat: Join us for the Spring Women’s Retreat at Mt. Hermon, March 13–15, 2026! This is a meaningful opportunity for women to gather, get away, and take time to reflect on God’s love and purposes for our lives. Leave the busyness behind and experience renewal of mind, body, and soul in the presence of Jesus. Rather than hosting our own retreat, we’ll be joining Mt. Hermon’s Spring Women’s Retreat alongside women from across the Bay Area for worship, teaching, and activities in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains. Our registration is closed, but Mt. Hermon still has open spots. You can register with them at Mt. Hermon Women's Retreat.

Student Ministries Laser Tag: CPC Students are heading out for an afternoon of laser tag on Saturday, February 21. It’s an easy, fun way to connect, compete, and build friendships in a totally different setting. For more information and to register, go to cpc.org/events.
