ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF April 12, 2026

Healing Prayer: A small prayer team will gather in the Family Room after our second service on Sunday, April 12, at 12:45 PM. If you would like prayer for physical healing, we invite you to come and be prayed for. Contact Josh Parrish if you have questions.

John Walton: Many of you asked if we recorded the John Walton Seminar. We did! You can watch his seminar on Immanuel Theology: What God Always Intended at this link.

Financial Wisdom Seminar: Jesus often spoke about money because it shapes our hearts. Join us TODAY at 2:30 for a free 90-minute workshop focused on stewarding what God has entrusted to you with wisdom and peace. You’ll receive practical guidance on retirement planning, taxes, and navigating financial uncertainty. This is led by the Seek First Foundation, a Bay Area nonprofit that serves churches by offering biblically grounded financial teaching. They don’t sell products; they simply equip people to live open-handedly before God. Open to anyone, wherever you are in your financial journey. For more information and to register, go to cpc.org/events.

Work Life: Join us Saturday, April 11, from 9-10:30 am to learn how people are using AI tools for more effective job searches. Speakers from Callings.ai will share their insights and show a demo at this Zoom-only meeting. Additionally, you can network and get one-on-one help from career coaches for support in your job transitions and challenges. RSVP for this Zoom meeting.

Discover CPC: New to CPC? We’d love to meet you! If you’ve started attending CPC in the past year, join us for Discover CPC, a relaxed and welcoming time designed just for you—happening on Sunday, April 19, from 12:45 to 1:45 pm (right after the second service). Enjoy snacks, connect with others, and hear from some of our pastors and directors about the heart behind CPC. You’ll learn about our mission, values, and where we believe God is leading us in the coming decade. Let us know if you’re joining us at cpc.org/events.

Men’s Serving Event: Men's Fraternity is proud to sponsor and promote a Serve Day for all men at CPC on Saturday, April 18, from 9-11 am. We will purchase and install gravel on the site where Street Life Ministries serves thousands of meals every year to homeless individuals on the Peninsula. Due to the year-round foot and vehicle traffic this site receives, gravel is necessary to protect the grounds and to present an inviting outdoor space for worship and food. We invite you to contribute your time and your tools as we aim to serve God's Kingdom and to be "Transformed People, Transforming the Peninsula!" Register today at cpc.org/events.

Alpha: Looking for a place where questions about faith are truly welcomed? Alpha is a relaxed, conversational space for anyone curious about God or want to explore life’s big questions. Each week includes a meal, a short video, and an open discussion—no pressure and no expectations. CPC is partnering with Menlo Church to host Alpha on Tuesday evenings, April 21–May 26, from 6:45–8:15 pm at Devils Canyon Brewing Co. It’s free, and dinner is included. Learn more and register at cpc.org/alpha.

Rooted In Christ Retreat: Join us on Saturday, April 25, for a one-day Rooted in Christ Retreat—a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with who God says you are. Through Scripture and guided conversation, we’ll explore identity, worth, freedom, and belonging. If you’re feeling tired, stuck, or longing for deeper clarity, this retreat is for you. Come as you are. Leave rooted and renewed in Christ. For more information and to register, go to cpc.org/events.

Summer XP: Get ready for a week of discovery, fun, and faith! Summer XP is our high-energy kids' day camp experience where kids will explore God’s Word—learning how the Bible lights our path and helps us follow Jesus every day. With engaging Bible stories, games, worship, and hands-on activities, kids will grow in their faith while having an absolute blast. Don’t miss it! Summer XP is July 20-24. Register today at cpc.org/events!
